It has something to do with the " revving up " of the body's systems so it can not only digest the food, but to help get the nutrients to the tissues faster. I would mention it to your doctor, but I dont believe it is a big deal .. the only thing would be if you are having the high rate of heart rate ALL the time or if there is heart pain along with it.
