Guest guest
Hello : There are all kinds of reasons for variations between meters & readings. Some environmental, some procedural. Bottom line, if you don't TRUST the reading you've taken take it again and do your very best to make 100 percent sure you've not made any mistakes on your end. Various Diabetes magazines have done comparisons of the different machines and found by in large most, most are adequate but still not dead right. If you're getting a huge difference between the machines check your procedure and more likely the strips themselves. Exposed to moisture/air for too long and they become worthless. Check everything twice and see. DO you have your control solution (to check the calibration) for both your meters? That would be my first step, in your place...
