Guest guest
I visited my GP for a checkup this morning. (It had been about 18 months since my last checkup for a variety of reasons.) Got weighed before going into the exam room. After a few minutes, he came in. He was going to ask his usual checklist of questions, and looked down at his chart, and said, " Looks like you've lost...um...40, 41 pounds? " Then he looked up with a puzzled look on his face and looked back down at the page. " Can that be right? " I had a hard time keeping a straight face. " Yep, " I said, " I was down 15 pounds last year when I saw you. So 55 pounds altogether. " " Well, " he said, " I hardly recognized you when I came in. How'd you do it? " So I mentioned SB. Later, while taking my bp and other vitals, which were all good, he said, " You've done more for yourself in this last year than any pill ever could. " And that, in my opinion, is the most important point of this WOE and why I mention this experience. Bob
