Aaargh, I'm not even sure what my question/s are.

Up until Sept., we lived in subsided housing since Oct

of 1990. My husband worked at a golf course until Jan.

of 2000. He's been with Siemen's Westinghouse since

July of 2000.

This year we finally were able to move and buy a house;

but, because of my school loans the house had to be put

in just my husband's name.

I went to school in Fl. back in 88-89. Got a

certificate in accounting, then found out that alot of

places didn't recognize where I went.

After moving back to Pa, I eventually went back to

school. I was going to College part-time

for a couple of years.

When my girls were 3 and 4 years old, I ended up in the

hospital for depression/breakdown. Also was anemic and

had bronchitis. I quit school at that point. Now, I

realize that the wrong tests were done at the time and

the doctor/s didn't really listen to me. Too bad, the

ACM should have been found then.

That was back in 1992; I never went back to school or

work. Didn't feel that I had the energy or strength.

Family tghought I was lazy. Now, everyone knows

better.

After having the decompression, 2 shunts, and

confirmation of arthritis in my neck -- have arthritis

elsewhere, but, no MRI was done on rest of body -- Now,

I am having trouble with one of my shunts.

I brought home a coopy of yesterday's MRI. I don't

really know how to read it. Heck, I can't even find the

shunts on the pictures. But, I can tell that they don't

look right. Both sides of your brain should look

somewhat the same, right?

My understanding is that where you see black, that is

fluid. Depending on the cross-section of the picture,

some of them show more black/fluid on one side then the

other.

So, I'm thinking that the shunt may not be the problem;

but, that the hydrocephalus -- that the first shunt was

put in for -- is growing again.

I have no idea what they will do for this.

Any ideas?? Or is my thinking way off-base?

As to the first part of this post --- With all that has

happened and is still happening, might there be some way

that my school loans that went into default could be

gotten rid of?

I'm not out to get away with anything. I've seen people

do that. But, I can't pay these loans. My husband is

making good money now; but, there's a house payment and

a family to support. And after all these years, it's

nice to not have to penny-pinch so much at the grocery

store. For a long time, grandma was the one who bought

them treats and such.

Plus, my girls are going to want to go to college one

day --- hopefully --- and I don't want my loans to be

what hinders them from going.

I know that I will never work.

ACM was a problem for me since day one; but, nobody knew

it. Just as an example: had to be fed thru and I.V. at

the age of 6 months and couldn't walk until I was almost

2 yr. old.

I'm thankful to have made it to where I am at. At least

I was able to have 2 daughters. If things had been

discovered sooner, doctors probably would have done me

more harm than good.

For those of you who have made it this far listening to

me. Thank you!! This group is a blessing.

Peace and grace
