Guest guest
Not that I would be any kind of expert, but you might have put the dosages too high. Over time this could cause bacteria/yeast problems, but also cause problems with sulfation. I certainly notice more red ears when my son is on a DMSA round than when he is not. Why not have a look at the index on thi slist and consider lower dosages. Probably you've got to take a break and deal with some gut bugs anyway right now. Hope it resolves. marti
Guest guest
I guess it would be the best thing to take a break. He was doing so well and started to say words almost immediately after starting the first round with ALA. He is still saying the words but he is stimming alot. Thanks! Guest guest
Is he under more pressure at school? Could the stimming be a result of increased anxiety at school? Just thoughts. > > Hi all! Guest guest
We did think it might have had something to do with school. He is currently at an offsite from the main school which is in a pre- school setting. Beginning Nov. 1, he was moved back to the main site because of a mold problem in his classroom. It started right around that time. Do you think it could have something to do with the change. He doesn't seem to be doing it as much at home. > > > Hi all! My first thought for your initial message was yeast, and mold is also a fungus. So yes, I would definitely focus on fungus/yeast issues. Should we do every > weekend? First, I would suggest that you try using the DMSA + ALA every three hours INCLUDING AT NIGHT. http://home.earthlink.net/~moriam/Andy_dose_sched.html This has made a lot of difference for many people. Second, I think the amount of DMSA sounds a bit high. good wishes, Moria
