Dear Rob,

I'm just so upset that I haven't slept in days now. I just can't

believe this is happening after all these years of being diagnosed

with this disease. I'm just sick to death over it. I did go to

Mark's website and read this man's story, his name was .

Ironically, both he and I had the same doctor in NYC, Drs. Kasmin and

Siegel. He swears by Dr. Kasmin. I really wish I could go back to

Dr. Siegel because I know he's an excellent doctor, but like I said

before, I owe him $3,000 and he's threatening to sue me, so that's

that. My husband has a new insurance company effective 11/1, and I

have a book of participating doctors. I've decided to call each and

every doctor in my area and ask about their expertise, and I'M going

to find the right doctor. I'm not going to depend on my primary doc

or anyone else to refer to me a so-called " expert " in pancreatitis.

I'm taking charge of my life once and for all. I'm just so damn

mad. As far as the pain management doctor is concerned, I know there

is a list in the database of doctors, one of which is in Englewood

(which is about an hour from my house). He's supposed to be very

good. I'm going to contact him as well. I'm also going to e-mail

Dr. Sutherland and see if he could possibly recommend someone in my

area. This whole thing seems to be a nightmare, and now my husband

is so upset, but he doesn't know what to do either. I have an

apointmment with Social Security on Wednesday for a mental

examination. I just pray to god that Dr. Sterling didn't write them

any kind of letter. That would just really be the last straw. At

the moment, I'm just out of my mind and really need to get things

into perspective. Thanks Rob for your support, I really need it.
