Guest guest
The FD that I work for is in the process of purchasing some i-STAT 1 hand-held analyzers for cardiac enzyme levels in the field. Is anyone else using this product? A few ERs in the area are using them for " quick " results, but I haven't heard of anyone using these in the EMS environment. There is a significant cost for the initial purchase and for each single-use cartridge used. If you have any info (pros and cons) please let me know. D.
