my son is very noise sensitive too. AIT did not help at all. Our DAN dr said

that B12 and magnesium are known to help. My son gets mB12 shots and now we

are trying Water-Oz magnesium to see if that helps. I'll let you know.

Are you also supplementing and treating for yeast? I just ask because I was

doing that at the same time I starting chelation with my daughter and the

sensitivites seemed to diminish almost at once from the very first few rounds.

I

wonder why this isn't helping him.

My son's noise sensitivity increased temporarily, as he was adjusting

to being able to hear normally. Then, after he adjusted, yeast would

do this for my son

My son does not tolerate most probiotics, and in fact giving him a

supplement he does not tolerate, will increase his sound sensitivity.

Are you sure your child tolerates all these probiotics and other

supplements?

Are you giving artificial flavors or colors--my son is hyposensitive

to sound until I give him artificials...

A little, but not much. He only gets a few skittles

during his table work.

  • 2 weeks later...

Sorry, Carole, I did not notice your question. I can't say about

what round, as all the changes were slow and continuous on DMSA

only, but after 4-5 months we could use vacuum cleaner at home which

we never could use before (we had to take him outside the house to

clean it)
