Guest guest
: PS - Whether married or not, we should take each other in good times and bad. And especially in times of sickness. My husband actually took care of both of his parents until they each died at close to ninety years of age. This man has painted my toenails just to cheer me up. He's a " keeper. Guest guest
Dear Ellen, It sounds to me like you have one the prize for best mate for life! You are so fortunate to have that kind of love and dedication! I envy you! God may have held out on a few blessings physically for you, but abundantly blessed you with companionship! Guest guest
-My husband makes me laugh during, before, and after an attack which makes all the difference. But I think anyone going through has put a strain on their relationship. Both financially and emotionally. We have had our share of problems, but recently we started talking about them and it has made a big difference. Counseling is a wonderful idea. We just happen to use our son's because me being sick has taken a lot out of him. Guest guest
Holly: You are so right. Many folks wonder about us as we are so very different, something that we discussed when we were interviewed by Sally Raphael. But those differences keep the marriage fresh. Men who meet Ed comment on his being a gentle man. Woman ask if he has a clone. I just sent you a private email containing the newspaper story about how we met and married. -E
