Guest guest
What you said about medicine accelarating AIH, makes sense. How much and what medication were you taking to make your enzymes go that high? Its a shame and frustrating that your enzymes didnt go low enough to be in the normal range. The highest my enzymes went was only 200 and I went off meds so they lowered. So I was lucky I caught the high enzymes in time. Guest guest
Elena, I'm so sorry to hear you are having physical problems. I thought you were in the clear. Did you pass your physical for the police test? It sounds as if you are better off without that doctor. Blessings come in strange ways. You now have the opportunity to find a doc who really gets to the bottom of your problems. I wish you all the best in finding him/her. Guest guest
Thank you Roxanne, it does seem im in the clear. My enzymes are completely normal, and only my ANA and smooth muscle are positive. I just still have that vague abdominal tenderness/discomfort.It looks like I just have to live with it. Sorry about my E-mail, I just needed to vent, but thanks for listening. I havent yet done my physical as im still waiting to find out if I passed the Chiefs interview. If I have i go on to the next step. That ****! doctor/s How are you? Elena --- CREE8V1@... wrote: > Elena, > > I'm so sorry to hear you are having physical > problems. Guest guest
Hi Elena, If you want to have your photo posted, you can send one to me and I'll scan it and post it. But, some people are camera shy (me, for example) and I sympathize, so if you don't want to do it, that's certainly understandable. I take such a lousy photo that I dread having my picture taken for my driver's license or anything official. When it comes to family photos, I just run and hide. Take care, Geri

Guest guest
Elena, If you already have a photo saved on your hard drive, just highlight the file, go to " edit " , then " copy " then start an e-mail to my e-mail address and go again to " edit " and hit " paste " so the photo will be an attachment to the e-mail. Or, you can just start an e-mail then find the command to " attach file " (to the message), select the photo file and then hit " okay " . However, if you don't have a photo already on your hard drive, you can send a photo to me and I'll scan it and post it for you. Let me know what you want me to do and I'll send you my address. Guest guest
Dear Elena: Did they find out that you do not have AIH after all, or have you gone into remission? What did they attribute your symptoms to? I'm glad to hear that things are going better for you. Good luck on your career! Guest guest
Im flattered and happy that I can stay on the list! After going throught the feeling that I had AIH which was progressing, and also hearing what you are all going through I want to stay on the list and give any support I can. Also, you are all great people and I couldnt just sign off, I would be wondering how you are all doing, and how your health is. After all, the people on this list gave me tremendous support and valuable information whilst I was going through the difficult diagnostic stage. I want to now give something back, if I can. Guest guest
I never really found out for sure. Last April, I experienced extreme fatigue, slight juandice and high LFT's around 200-300. However, they only remained that high for around three months. Even though I have the markers for AIH (positive ANA and smooth muscle) the high enzymes could have been a toxic affect from drugs which I was taking, and could have been nothing to do with AIH. Maybe I will develop AIH in a few years, maybe never. I count my blessings every day though! Guest guest
I did have a liver biopsy which showed mild inflammation, no fibrosis, no cirrohsis. Seeing that my enzymes went down and I had no scarring I never went on any meds. Elena --- kak <majuli@...> wrote: > Elena, I was wondering...did you ever go on > Prednisone?
