Guest guest
Hi Kass, We just put on homebound services and it's been great. The teacher comes to the house 5 hours a week on a schedule we both agreed on. He's here Thursday, Friday and Saturday afternoons. If was getting any related services, those would have continued as well. I have noticed an increase in 's energy level. At school he wouldn't make it to his afternoon classes because he was just too tired. Middle school is so much " harder " than elementary was. We ask every now and again if he wants to go back to school all the time, some time or not at all and he always picks not at all. He says he's not bored at home. Of course we do other things with him to get him out of the house. I also have to admit that not getting two kids ready in the morning is very nice. But that wasn't the main reason to keep home. Having Madison on a combo of home and school would be great! IMHO of couse. I'm sorry I can't offer and cons on the subject, but we just haven't found any in our situation. Best of luck!!
