Guest guest
Just a speculation on post-surgical bladder problems. Usually after surgery, you take antibiotic for a while just to keep away any possible surgical infections. Well, as a result, you can get secondary bladder infections as well as yeast infections. See, the bladder has a certain amount and type of normal bacteria (called flora) of different types. This is a natural environment. What happens, though, when you take an antibiotic, one type of bacteria in the bladder can be wiped out, giving another type of bacteria that is resistant to that particular antibiotic ample opportunity to grow, flourish and annoy you with an infection. So, if you are having problems, go to your doctor and ask if you can get a culture and sensitivity test, just to be sure it's not a secondary infection. Hope that helps some of you. Good thoughts and hugs to all Pammy
