question about vertigo and the weather

Hi,

Hope everyone is doing as well as they can be today. I am trying to figure some

things out and thought maybe you guys could help.

I have severe vertigo that makes me vomit and very much interferes with my life.

I have been to several ents, neuroopthamologists, neurologists, neurosurgeons

you name it I've been there and no answers.

So I have been trying to figure it out on my own. I have been noticing some

common factors and am wondering if I am just reaching here. I know there are

alot of us that have a increase in their chiari symptoms when the weather

changes, like a pressure change or rain etc..

My question is, is there anyone that has severe vertigo that notices the vertigo

" episodes " also increase when there is a weather change? I have, when the

pressure drops or it rains or snows, my vertigo episodes become fast and

furious. If I lay the back of my neck on a pillow or anything, the vertigo

feeling gets worse. I also call it a queasy feeling, its hard to explain.

Im just wondering since I have been told it is not due to my ears or eyes and

that it could be a brain stem issue. Im wondering if the vertigo feeling is

affected the same as the chiari. Is there anyone that has noticed anything

similar?

I hate trying to play doctor to myself but what are you going to do when you

dont get help? Any comments on vertigo or how weather affects your chiari would

be appreciated. You can send them off list if you want or on if anyone else is

interested.
