Guest guest
Does anyone know if the chicken pox vaccine has the same isues as the other vaccines we discuss regularly on this list serve? Any information would be appreciated. Also has anyone dealt with chicken pox in an 8 or 10 year old?
Guest guest
All I can tell you is that that is the last thing they ever poked my son with and his arm swelled up and got all puffy and red. I called them a few hours after and they had me come in right away. As a matter of fact I had to make 3 trips to the Ped that day so they could " monitor " it. I also had to go in the next day so they could see it. I am still ticked off about that one! And I dont belive the reported it to the CDC but I did! If it were something so harmless like they claim why were they falling all over themselves to see my son's arm and make sure he was ok????? grrrrrrrrrrr > Does anyone know if the chicken pox vaccine has the same isues as the other > vaccines we discuss regularly on this list serve? Guest guest
Besides having a high rate of problems associated with it, I seriously wonder if it even works. I've known two kids to get chicken pox who HAD the vaccine. maryW > Does anyone know if the chicken pox vaccine has the same isues as the other > vaccines we discuss regularly on this list serve? Guest guest
It does not have thimerosal but has many other nasties. It was put out as a money-maker. It only lasts for maybe 7-10 years ( if at all) not life-long immunity, so booster shot every 10 years! a true money- maker and for older folks, shingles can be more painful and life threatening than childhood chickenpox. My girls had this in 1997, before I became vaccine- educated...I should never have done it..let your kids get it naturally and get immunity that way. merrywbee <maryandphilip@...> wrote:Besides having a high rate of problems associated with it, I seriously wonder if it even works. Guest guest
I had the chicken pox at 6mos, 6 or 7 YO and again at 12. no real problems except for a few scars. A friend of mine never got it and she's 30 something and all her kids have had it. go figure... Doctors told her she's merely a carrier but has a natural immunity to it.From: grapenutsgirl Sent: Friday, July 25, 2003 1:40 PM Subject: [ ] Re: chicken pox vaccine ---For anyone interested, I had the chicken pox as a thirteen year old. Guest guest
Amy, Who is making it sound like you 'must' do this vaccine. Take whatever exemption you can. If you feel that your child needs chelation, she surely does not need another bump up on the ladder of toxicity. There are even pediatricians in our area who will not give this one!! > > Hi, > > We were told that my 10 year old daughter didn't get her chicken pox > vaccine when she was 7. Guest guest
Probably a stupid question, but is there a blood test that could determine if she was already immune? I don't think this is a " mandatory " vaccine, is it? not sure. You should probably ask for a copy of her immunization record if you don't already have it. Not sure of the rationale of vaccinating against chicken pox if she's already had it? Sounds crazy to me!! -- Ginger McAllister ---- mbrookh <mbrookh@...> wrote: Amy, Who is making it sound like you 'must' do this vaccine. Take whatever exemption you can. Guest guest
I can't remember if I took her to the doctors office when she had them. I'm thnking I called them and they said it was probably chicken pox. She had them when she was real small that's why it's hard to remember what exactly happened. The reason why I can remember her having them is cause she got a scar above her eye brow and one on the private area! We live in TN so our exemptions are Religious and Medical. We don't go to church and she doesn't have any medical reasons to not have them done. I will definitely look into having both kids checked for immunity to these stupid things!! Guest guest
TN does allow viral titers for proof of immunity. At least in college... I assume it holds true for all schools. > > > > > > > > > > Hi, > > > > > > > > > > We were told that my 10 year old daughter didn't get her > > chicken > > > > pox > > > > > vaccine when she was 7. Guest guest
I'm convinced that my son's apraxia is linked to the chicken pox vaccine (or one that came with that round of vaccines -- because after that round, he stopped babbling and using jargon -- became a very quiet baby). With that said, if I had to do it all over again, I'd have raced right by that vaccine siting whatever exemption I could have at the time. So, can you consult a DAN doc to sign off on the expemption for your child, or have him state that your child has immunity to the virus.....had the virus, or whatever. And, if you're chelating, is there the possibility for a medical exemption? @...: rnanjnc@...: Sun, 16 Mar 2008 16:21:19 +0000Subject: [ ] Re: Chicken Pox Vaccine I can't remember if I took her to the doctors office when she had them. Guest guest
spirituality can take many forms. there are legal precedents stating that native american spirituality will uphold a religious exemption. thus, you do not have to be a member of an " organized religion " - attend church - or praise " god " in order to claim this exemption. --- danasview <danasview@...> wrote: > > > We live in TN so our exemptions are Religious and > Medical. Guest guest
I wish I could use that one on her. She's not sutistic but my son is. I'll use it for him!! Guest guest
Amy, Filing the exemption is easy. And we do not attend church regularly, because my vaccine damaged son cannot sit quietly in a church. His dad and I are different religion but both of Christian origin. Attending a church is not a test of faith...many people worship and practice their faith in their own home as we do. No one can question you on your beliefs either once you file this exemption. It is illegal to question your believes. Don't think you can't file because your children already had some vaccines, because this is not true. My children had some vaccinations as well, before I learned enough about them and their contents and realize that these were poisons and did conflict with my beliefs. I don't believe God wants me to poison my children. In a court of law if you administer a poisonous substance to another human, this is considered attempted murder and punishable by law. I don't see vaccines as any different. I find murder against my beliefs. Your beliefs do not have to complex like being Christian Science or something..simply believing in preserving human life it enough. Once you file this with your doctor/schools etc, you no longer have to worry about your son's 5 year shots or whatever new shot or booster they want to give any of your children. It it well within your constitutional right to practice your faith and not have money driven practices like vaccination violate those beliefs. Filing out the paperwork is far worth it to prevent the harm to your children. www.vaclib.org This site will help you file the proper paperwork for you state. They also have an advocate for TN if you need help. Hep and Hip and all the other ones are toxic also. > > > > > > > > > > > Hi, > > > > > > We were told that my 10 year old daughter didn't get her chicken > > pox > > > vaccine when she was 7. Guest guest
Family history is a good one too. Thanks everyone for all the information. I've done alot of research this morning! You've kept me busy with all the sites! One more question. If I don't file with the school or doctors office, is it the Health Department that I file it with? I know I might have to get a green form from them to sign. Thanks Again!! I love you all!!!!
