Guest guest
I actually take chemo for Lupus. It's cytoxan that I take. I know Cytoxan is used in some form of cancer, I'm sorry I just can't remember right now which form, I'm thinking either breast or lymph. I'll check and let you know. There are different agents used and I think it depends on the agent itself. That is a question you should definitely put to your doctor. Good luck . , my mom took cytoxan for her breast cancer and then again for her melanoma that had spread to 19 of the 21 lymph nodes they removed. I know that for the breast they gave her mega doses and for the other it wasn't such a high dose. Thankfully she just had a slew of tests this past month as they found a bad spot on one of her legs and on her liver and she checked out just fine. Boy were we scared! Anyway, I just thought it is wierd that they also use it for lupus. Strange how so many meds are used for so many different things! a C
