Okay guys,I have some potty training questions regarding Keyone. I was going to wait until he was two and a half, but he is getting his own diapers and wipes when he needs changed, telling me he is stinky, and getting up on the couch and then puts the diaper in the pail and waits for me to wash his hands. Do you think he is ready? Also, I know this sounds silly, but should we teach him to pee sitting or standing in the beginning? Sheesh I feel lost as all our other kids were way past this stage when we got them!

.. They said with the pull ups they are just a glorified diaper, and they don't feel wet, so they are comfortable and don't want to change, where with the gerber they actually can feel that they are wet. One mother said that she put the reg. underwhere under a pull up and that did the trick. Did you ever watch the dr Phil toilet training in a day? Anyway just a few thoughts that I had found along the way. a

Wow a that all makes sense! I had not heard of the cheerios, or the DR Phil show either. We haven't gotten pull ups and I don't think we will now. It would make sense that they don't feel wet in them. Thanks for the tips, good luck with your little girl,

a, I had three foster girls years ago, but they were all past the potty training stage. My adopted

nieces were easy to train when they were small, they just had this thing about being clean, so as soon as they figured out what one did on a toilet, they wanted to do it, too. I really just had to boost

them up on the thing. They never did take to a little potty chair. So, I'm afraid that I was spoiled in

terms of little girls. And, I didn't get my daughter until she was fourteen. LOL

I wish you luck, but I do agree that those silly pull up things are too much like a comfy diaper to work

for training purposes. I only used those at night for my male bed wetters, and once we got meds for

them, there was no more problem. They eventually could be weaned from the meds, and we haven't

had any trouble since. Good luck, honey. Love, MM
