Maybe it would have been better if you didn't have a previous doctor, ya think? Then they would have to start from scratch. When I was in the hospital, Scripps kept asking me for my last couple of x-rays and medical file. I was really out of it so I wasn't much help to them. They finally got it though. They need the x-rays to find out when all your problems started. If you can get ones earlier than the hospital one, that would also help your doctor a lot. They need to get a base line on when your lungs started to get bad and how much damage has occurred from then to now. So, ask your Rheumy about other x-rays that you've had.
