Guest guest
<<Hi, Has anyone experienced an office hyst. to resect the septum? I am ofered either office hyst. without general anesthesia or hyst/lap by my RE. I'm planning to have it done in the office but would like to see if anybody can share more infor about her experience. Any follow up hyst after?>> Zohreh, I can't think of anyone who has had that one, but then I've been somewhat out of touch with this list for the past year. Personally, I would opt for anesthesia and an OR setting for the surgery, for comfort and safety's sake. What if your surgeon were to cause a hemorrhage during an office procedure? Would he be able to treat you quickly in the best manner? Will the resection be as complete as possible? I know that septoplasty is a simple procedure, but lap/hysts are the standard of care for a reason. -- Beth SU, resected x
