Guest guest
Knowing what I know now, I would NEVER give that child another vaccine! know what I do now, If I had it to do over again ( I have four sons) I would have NEVER vaccinated any of them!! It breaks my heart knowing that every day, thousand of children are exposed to these terrible risks! Sincerely A sad mom in Ruston, LA> [ ] Vaccination Due - Words of Wisdom? Dear Parents, This is a fairly involved one time posting that I hope you will take the time to read. I work at a Family Practice Clinic and have a patient there I am very concerned about. is 22 month old with severe eczema that was non-responsive to any treatment, but cleared a great deal with the discontinuation of milk. He has begun to have fairly regular problems with wheezing (no official diagnosis of asthma). has a very light complexion. His behavior is very normal for his age. He has a brother who the parents initially thought might be autistic. This is no longer a concern for the family; as his brother began speaking at 4 years old and is very bright and very verbal. I am not qualified to make a diagnosis of Asperger's – but 's parents will be reading about this to see if it strikes them in any way. needed " caught up " on his immunizations. The immunizations were proceeded with very slowly rather than catching up all at once – ran fevers and had worsening eczema shots. We checked for anemia (because he is so pale) and checked a copper, zinc and ceruloplasmin. His lab work came back showing very mild anemia, a copper in the 160's and a zinc in the 40's, and a copper/zinc ratio of 3.6. is due for his MMR. I have openly expressed my concerns to 's parents, but as you all know, the depth and knowledge about autism / risks is not well understood in most of the medical community. 's parents are very bright, and obviously love their children very much. However, I am concerned that due to the poor understanding among the medical community my theories may sound a little " out there " – any second opinions they may receive, especially being well networked due to their occupations (nurse and respiratory therapist), may not support my recommendations. This is especially true because does not have anything definite in terms of an autism spectrum diagnosis, and he has normal behavior. I can't tell you how many times I have heard people say I wish I had known what I know now. I know how well versed all of you are in the causation theories and I'm sure you would share my concerns. I told 's parents that I would hope they would talk to other parents before they proceeded with any vaccinations. 's parents are willing to take nutrients to correct what is obvious in terms of his copper and zinc. We will also be discussing in further detail casein / gluten free diets, although I'm sure you can imagine how difficult that would be to implement without clear cut diagnosis or symptoms to motivate you. I thank you for your time in reading this posting, and please share the wisdom you have acquired. Knowing what you know now - if you were in their shoes, what would you do? Guest guest
My sister just had a child. I convinced her in part through what she has seen with my kids with autism/allergies - and I printed articles for her. If you feel comfortable, you could print the Grier article listed in the files section. You could also print the " Autism/mercury " paper by Sally Bernard/ Binstock - et al. There is a great deal of information about how vaccines tax the immune system, creating a nice environment for allergies. You may also suggest buying the book " What doctors dont tell you about childhood vaccines " . This is a nice " overview " especially for folks not immediately injured. My sister loved it. Guest guest
Why don't you print out the discussion in the Irish Parliament recently on the MMR. I posted the link yesterday. Guest guest
Well, knowing what I know now has caused me to raise my new baby differently. I do not give her dairy/wheat and do not plan on it until we are certain that she is not showing autism signs. And, I have not allowed vaccination at all. I do fear, in particular pertussis and hib, but more than those diseases I fear forever destroying her perfect body. I especially will not give a vaccine mearly because it's a fad or standard operating procedure. No longer do I allow foreign substances into my child's body without first understanding what it will/could do to them AND seeing a need for the substance. If I could turn back time I would not allow any vaccines, esp the hepB, the one in which she was damaged. Nor would I allow a vaccine that could very well be responsible for Allie to not be allowed to eat wheat or dairy, probably for the rest of her 4 yr old life. Unless I feel God telling me to vaccinate or feel her life is threatened with a particular disease, I will probably never get Dinah vaccinated. That is what I am doing, now that I know what I wish I'd known then. Debi > > I thank you for your time in reading this posting, and please share > the wisdom you have acquired. Guest guest
This is a difficult spot to be in. I find more and more that I am telling parents not to have vaccinations, at least until their child is over two. My first instinct when I was pregnant w/ my 5 yo was to not have him vaccinated. I allowed my pediatrician to talk me into it, and I definitely regret it. He got at least two vaccs., at 2 mo and 4 mo which contained thimerosal. He was just recently dx w/ autism, PDD-NOS. The thing that really bothers me is that there is so much information about how dangerous thimerosal is, and if I had just done a little more research, we would not be in this situation. It sounds like this child could definitely be on his way to an autism dx. I don't know how you could tactfully suggest to the parents that they should consider some alternative treatment/testing. If they are to be reading this, as you say, I would tell them to NOT give any more vaccinations, do a hair test, and start treating him NOW to avoid his condition getting worse. All things considered, I have a great life. But the guilt I feel for allowing my son to be damaged is like a knife in my heart, every day. e > Dear Parents, > > This is a fairly involved one time posting that I hope you will take > the time to read. > > I work at a Family Practice Clinic and have a patient there I am very > concerned about. >
Guest guest
Hi, Knowing what I know now, there is no way I can recommend for anyone to have ANY VACCINE, PERIOD. With vaccines, the unknown is around the corner. You never know what the outcome is going to be. Are you willing to take that chance? That your child may never be the same? That even though before the vaccine your child is healthy, that he or she may suddenly become chronically ill after the vaccine? People have no idea what it is like to have a vaccine injured child unless they have lived it. Every time your child is suffering, which is nearly always, you, the parent, are suffering with them. Nothing ameloriates the pain that I feel to see my son suffering the way he does. I took away his health and happiness when I took him to have the MMR booster at age 12, because there was a serious measles epidemic here in town. I also lost one of my best friends. At age 18, my son has severe autism and heavy metals including arsenic and mercury; and the consequences for him are a very poor immune system, chronic runny nose and ears, symptoms of high histamine, extremely poor sulfation status, poor absorption of minerals and vitamins, no eye contact, ongoing fearfulness of people, can't handle wheat and gluten, because his enzymes are bound up with the mercury poisoning; can't handle eggs, phenols, and other additives, because they make his nose run and also make him fearful of people; can't handle olive oil, because it suppresses his sulfation; can't listen to t.v. or radio, because they hurt his ears; can't play on the musical keyboard for the same reason, and has acquired dyslexia due to the swollen ears. Because of all the above, we, as a family, are strained. My husband has cancer and I have chronic fatigue, but we are never giving up on trying new therapies on him. We have been treating symptom by symptom and also have worked on removing the cause of some of the symptoms. All of his symptoms are much less, and he actually is getting and feeling better and better every day. I can see his strength improving more and more and, he cooperates a lot with his treatments. Chelation has helped a lot. After learning a lot over the last few years, on how to help my son, I feel a pot of gold is waiting for us at the end of the rainbow. I hope this helps. Guest guest
-Rose, we have been through many of the same issues with our 4 year old son as you have had with yours, and you have even more. My heart goes out to you and your family and we feel your pain. I have a 9 year old " NT " daughter who is one of my best and favorite companions and we will NOT be giving her the boosters at 12. It is stories like yours that need to get out so that people understand that it is not just babies that are affected. Many many people don't know that a child can have this happen later on...... Bless you and your fight. Patti -- In , " christianity20 " <christianity20@y...> wrote: > Hi, > > Knowing what I know now, there is no way I can recommend for anyone > to have ANY VACCINE, PERIOD.
