water oz zinc dosage

Hi,

The zinc in WaterOz seems to be just a FEW Milligrams in the adult dosage.

The effective dosage is far greater which I assume is due to the higher

absorption.

My daughter really responded well to WaterOz zinc. We were trying to give

her 75 mg in a capsule of the Traditional Zinc. Her tummy always hurt and she

continued to bite her nails terribly. Once we got her on WaterOz Zinc -- I

give her the adult dosage twice a day--she stopped biting her nails. Just

recently she had a virus and was sick. I think her zinc levels dropped because

we

saw nail biting which had not been there for 5-6 months. We have seen things

turn around for her since getting over being sick. I have no idea what dosage

I should give my daughter when she is sick -- but I know it is more than our

regular.

My daughter is 56 pounds and 9 years old. I would think that your child of

75 pounds could easily use the adult dosage to start with. Then you can try

increasing the dosage to see if behaviors improve.

There is an Extra Strength WaterOz Zinc. It is 1200 ppm. It is cheaper to

ship.

Hope this helps,

in Salt Lake City

Hi,

Does anybody know how to translate the water oz concentration of 300 parts per

million into mg per teaspoon?

I try to work out an appropriate dosage for an 8 year old girl, 75 lbs who might

be copper toxic.

Dagmar.
