, My rheumatologist told me to see an orthopedist for my carpal tunnel problems. He insisted

on it, in fact. He told me that RA, which I also have, may prevent the surgery from helping, but in

most cases it didn't interfere with it. I experienced great relief from the constant numbness/pain

cycle that carpal tunnel caused in my hand, forearm, and wrist on the right side. So, in spite of RA

problems, the surgery can help. I'd discuss it with an orthopedist, too. Loving hugs, MM
