CRAP-O-LA Queen Brat!! I'm really sorry you got that crap. Do you know if you have the strain "they" are saying the flu vaccine misses? Are you one that can't have a flu shot? I've had flu, and just feel super bad for you. Lots of fluids my friend, OK? Hugs - a B

According to the dr and the papers she made out, it's influenza. I've been getting lots of rest, trust me!

Hi Ardie - I think it's called The Survival of the Fittest. I always hated it when we lived in the National Parks. I had heard of winter kill before, but never believed it. It is true though. A heard of deer or elk will bother a weaker member of the herd keeping them from food and water etc., until they finally die and then they eat the poor creature. My Husband would keep reminding me that if the weak were to survive the winter and have their calves that the species would get weaker. He's right, but it is still hard. Even the States and Federal Govt feed the deer, elk and moose, etc., during real bad winters. Hugs - a B

Dear a, Thank you for the welcome back, it feels good to be up and around again. Nothing fancy yet, but at least my feet are on the floor. I read the posts, want to wish all a healthier week then last week. Can't remember who it was that was having trouble with her kidneys, but my thoughts are with her. Hoping she is soon feeling much better. There are so many in pain, wonder if the winter weather isn't one of the culprits. Seems to me when it's cold, gloomy, damp, etc. the pain is worse. We had one day this week when with the wind chill our temp. was -60. Now that's cold--BRRRRRR! We wonder how the animals and birds survivie. The men had a meeting at one of the bait shops yesterday discussing the feeding of the birds and deer. It's so sad to see the dead ones lying side the roads when and if the weather stays this cold for any length of time. Take care. Love Ardie
