I can not answer the dosage question but perhaps Dr. Kubara can at the lauricidin site.
Guest guest
Liz, Go to www.lauricidin.com. Also Dr. Kabara is very helpful if you have questions to ask.....he will gladly answer you but you have to call him. R
Guest guest
Can someone recommend a brand of monolaurin that they have had good results with? How much would be beneficial for an 8 year old---about 65 pounds? Thanks- SJ

For measles virus, you should consider high dose vitamin A protocol http://www.danasview.net/vitamina.htm >>Should I stop the Monolaurin and > perhaps try something stronger, or keep going? You can keep going if you want. I used olive leaf extract for virus issues. I only knew it was helping when I tried to remove it, then WOW major regression! Viral elimination tends to cause yeast overgrowth. Are you seeing any yeast issues? Dana
Guest guest
Dana, I'm not seeing signs of yeast issues with the Monolaurin, and it is possible that if I did remove the Monolaurin, I would see big time regression, I just haven't tried that yet. Maybe I will try olive leaf extract and see what happens. We did try the high dose Vitamin A protocol, and that worked really well for 2 days (good behavior and bowels) and then my son's bowels went back to loose. Haven't tried the vitamin A since that one time 4 months ago. Thanks for your help, Aileen > > I started giving my 5 year old son Monolaurin 300 mg capsules 3x/day > > back in May.
