ABOUT BSA EMS

Baptist St. 's (BSA) Health System EMS (BSA EMS) is a department of

BSA Health System which is located in Amarillo, Texas. BSA EMS covers

approximately 825 square miles of Randall County, Texas. We cover the

cities of Canyon and Umbarger along with Palo Duro Canyon and Buffalo Lake

National Wildlife Refuge. We are licensed at the MICU level by TDSHS. We

operate a 24 hour station and a 12 hour station. We have 28 employees and

have approximately 2,600 patient contacts per year. Approximately 62% of

our calls are 9-1-1 related.

REQUIREMENTS

A valid Texas Class " C " or better driver license is required with excellent

driving record.

Texas Department of State Health Services Certified or Licensed Paramedic

required.

ACLS, PHTLS and PALS or PEPP required within 80 days of employment.

PREFERRED

Field experience is preferred.

NREMT is preferred.

Experience with Zoll Data Systems EMS Pro software is preferred.
