Guest guest
Hi All - Our five year old grandson has really been developing his musical talent. You may laugh since he is only 5, but if you were to hear him sing you'd be surprised. His Mom & Dad started him in Kindermusic a couple years ago. He has been learning about music style, rhythm, composition, etc. all at his level of understanding. As an aide to help in learning he has a what looks like a tiny Xylophone he plays. Anyway, he asked if he could enter a contest at his school. He entered in the K - 3rd grade level and won first place. Then he went to district and won, and then to region and won. Now he is entered in the state competition. He wrote a little song, added times when you clap your hands, stomp your feet, turn around, etc. - made up the melody and plays it on his little instrument when he sings. It's a simple little song, but sure impressed the daylights out of me. We are proud, to say the least. I'm really pleased his parents are helping him to develop the things he has interest in.
