Depends on the kid. Because my son has a history of febrile seizures, I go very

slowly with anti-fungals. I don't want to induce a huge die-off and then have a

resulting fever and seizure. You've got to go with your instincts.

I think you should throw everything you've got at it right away. My

poor kid also had both clostridia and yeast. We tried fighting one at

a time, per DAN dr orders. First Culturelle 3x day for clostridia. It

came down a lot, but yeast went up. Then we tried Sporanox for yeast.

It came down and now clostridia is way up. So finally, after 4+

months of fighting them, we are back about where we started. Finally,

we are fighting both at once, agressively. My kid has been on

Nystatin (for yeast), Flagyl (for clostridia), Lauricidin, and

Culturelle now for a week. The difference is amazing. He's also on

the SCD diet and we're hoping we can heal up his gut and repopulate

it with good bugs without seeing any regression. I understand your

hesitation to throw in so many things at once, but I'd hate to see

you on the same see-saw we were on for so many months.

Good luck!

clostridia species including C difficile...no wonder the poor guy has

been horrible and aggressive.

Lauricidin/Monolaurin.
