Guest guest
Does anyone else's child produce excessive carnitine? If so, do you know what that means??? doesn't even eat meat (been off it the entire time of the diet, or 21 months), which is what the body uses to manufacture carnitine, and yet her levels are twice normal. At the beginning of the diet she took Carnitor without any kind of baseline blood work, and when her blood tests showed incredibly high levels, we and our keto team opted to take her off. No one has an answer as to why her levels would be so high. Perplexed as usual, Rose-Marie, mom to our mystery girl (age 7 1/2)
