Does DMSA lower or chelate copper?

Hi,

My son has high copper again, 45 on DDI hair test (rr 10-30), so I

omitted the ALA for this round. I'm using all the cu lowering

supplements and restricting the cu foods, but I was wondering if the

DMSA would also help with copper. Also, is 45 too high to use the

ALA? We do have copper pipes, and his level was 100 at one time.
