the latest plan

Hi,

Well I just got my call from the nurse and my HCG is down to 7.5

(down from 8.6). She said he's still a little concerned about the

mass in my tube, but it sounds like he feels as if my cycles are back

in order. My estrogen and everything were all in normal limits for

cd 3.

So the latest plan is to wait 28 days for my next af, at which point

I'll get my HSG. Maybe he thinks the HSG will knock it loose or

something. It seems strange not to go in for blood for that long,

but it'll be a nice break. I hope this next month goes by quickly.

In any event, I'd really prefer to rely on my other tube the next

time I ttc. I hope that'll be doable.

Hi ,

Thanks for your well wishes. I'm already getting a little nervous

about having an HSG when it's pretty certain that I will still have

the blockage in my right tube. I heard that it really hurts when

there is a blockage--and with a 1 1/2 inch blockage--ooh I just hate

to think what I will feel.

Maybe, miraculously, the mass will disapppear this month. But since

it's been in there for all this time, I'm not that optimistic about

that happening.

Or maybe the HSG is a clearer way for the doctor to see exactly

what " the mass " is. Which is clearer--an U/S or an HSG? Does anyone

know? I know with the U/S, it remains uncertain if it is an ep mass

or a clot.
