Guest guest
I hope you can find it there. I know we live in the sticks but we go to Giant (about 10 miles) to shop and they have about everything. We do get most of our meat from hunting or our neighbor and at this time of year produce from the farmer's market, though. Kathy damn diet grrr...i give up as usual! this diet has entirely toomuch weird crap on it that they don't sell inhicksville USA! so far here is the stuff that i can'tfind unless i drive clear all the way to Orlando:turkey cutlets, red cabbage (nope, they don't have itat 2 of the grocers that I checked), sugar free yogurt(found fat free but no sugar free), eggplant, wholewheat cous cous, swordfish, fat free honey mustarddressing. How ridiculous is this? Probably I shouldhave tried Albertsons, they cater a bit more to thepeople with money so they tend to have moreselections. I did try wal mart, winn dixie & publixthough. Its just too hard having to look for al thisweird stuff... & its only day four. It does kind oflook like I've lost five pounds ( & its darn sure notfrom bm's!) though so I guess I should not be soooohasty. lol. Probably is just water weight though. There, I vented. I had kashi cereal instead of the eggwhite & toast I was meant to have but maybe IF I canfind some of this weird crap at albertsons after Idrop the dogs off at the groomers I will go back onthe diet. Guest guest
No such luck. I get so fed up with " diets " of any kind. I guess in actuallity what I eat normally is not SO bad...I think I just need to exercize more. I WOULD like to eat more organically grown stuff because I hate all the chemicals in food but there is nothing like that here either. Well, I take that back, we do have small health food shops but they charge an arm & a leg for products & don't have much selection. In DC we had a really great place, I think it was called Fresh Fields or something like that. Still expensive but they had everything you could think of. I sure do hate living in central florida sometimes. We are supposed to be getting storms passing through with 60 mile an hour winds later too. I hope it does not last long because I am planning on going to scrap booking. --- Kathy wrote: > I hope you can find it there. Guest guest
Dawn - Is your Wal-Mart a Super Wal-Mart? If not, try Albertson's. They should have most of the stuff. Red cabbage is probally out of season already, so it may be harder to find. Did you check the diet section at the stores?? I think plain yogurt (no flavorings) is sugar free. It doesn't taste near as good as vanilla. lol Check Albertson's before you go. https://www.albertsons.com/defaultSSL.asp

Guest guest
We've been having storms all week. A rather large tornado tore up town (near Hershey) a couple of days ago. Thank heaven's we're to have nice weather tomorrow for the yard sales, but then Sunday rain again. I don't get that you have so much trouble finding stuff..isn't central Florida kind of a farming area?
