i'm a 37 yr old mercury/arsenic toxic female. haven't been to a

doctor in a long time...have been following andy's chelation

protocol with ALA and dmps for almost a year. latest urine test

shows elevated mercury and arsenic, which is why i have had a

bad week with lots of fatigue and some hypoglycemia (haven't

had this in over 1 1/2 years!!). my adrenals are really being

stressed so i went to a new doctor of environmental medicine.

he recommended for me:

1. adrenal injections

2. methionine/inositol/choline injections

3. glutathione injections

4. vit B5 injections

this is just to start. anyone have any comments? i understand

that andy does not recommend methionine or glutathione, but

i'm not sure if they will potentially cause big problems or is it just

that he prefers other things....anyone know?

also, anyone know anything about adrenal injections vs

prenisolone vs hydrocortisone?

thanks, julie

theresa,

What i have learned from experience is that you may

have to take this slowly. Some of us cannot jump into

this diet and others can. Just eat healthy. I had

palps also so badly especially during my sleep. They

would wake me up.

I dont know if i helped but for me slowly was the key.

Love... Sue

Theresa, toxin load keeps the output of stress hormones artificially

high, leading to what's called " weak adrenals " or " adrenal

exhaustion " . The term doesn't really reflect what's going on and as

toxin load drops you won't need as much stress hormone output anyway.

UNtil the undenatured whey and selenium, plus the other antioxidants

and maybe a liver flush or two kick in you might want to take an

adrenal support but you won't need it for long and can probably wait

out the situation.

Any tips forgetting rid of heavy metals? This is what my ND thinks may be my

problem with the DHEA & testosterone overload! There seems to be no other

reason. I am taking natural cellular defense.

And I am going to be doing my 1st liver flush here in about a week.

I suggest undenatured whey and selenium for metals whatever else you

do because it produces the body's natural metals remover, glutathione.

Glutathione is not exactly a chelator of metals that are tightly

bound though, what it does is attach to whatever it encounters.

I have seen little to give me confidence in zeolite, and natural

glutathione will probably remove any excess that is not quickly

snapped up anyway.

I have been wondering about the zoelite. It sounds promising but it is SOOO

expensive. I have to say it did boost my energy levels but I am not seeing any

other change.

I am doing the whey regularly now. And will be starting on the selenium this

week. Doing the inulin as well. I wish I could find some way to tone down all

this DHEA my body is producing!!
