Guest guest
Lelia, On the Larry King show Naomi Judd said that Dr. Weil put her on milk thistle (silymarin) for her hepatitis C. She credits it, along with very healthy changes in her diet, with her cure from hep C. So it's very interesting and wonderful to learn what a difference it has made for you! Apparently it's used extensively for liver damage in Europe. My son was Dxed with hepatitis A this spring when the doc did some blood tests for bronchitis. The hep A was a total shock! I ordered some milk thistle online to be delivered to him (what 20 year old kid about to head into college finals is going to drop by the drugstore on Mom's orders?<g>) We'll never know really what effect it had, but he never developed jaundice or other symptoms of the hep A and his bronchitis and sinusitis cleared up very quickly with antibiotics. I was glad to see your recommendation because I've been wondering whether it would help the folks online with liver problems.
