Well actually - one keto kid a month would be a vast

improvement compared to a few months ago. There was big standstill

after - like only 1 or 2 in a whole yr + afterwards I think?

Sounds like a helluva med cocktail, I am hoping none of the muscle

cramps are AED related, as this could be a reason why they are back

again..the metabolic state of ketosis may be strengthening the meds,

and if they are somehow a side effect, it will be enhanced if this

is the case.

How often does she have clonazepam? I know that muscle spasms are

common during benzo reductions or withdrawal - have you reduced the

times you have given this med recently, or anything like that? If

so, mebbe she is having some fallout from not getting the clonaz as

regularly?

I am picking no one from Starship has advised you to start weaning

some meds down before she goes into hospital to start the diet?

What time frame are you looking at roughly to go in there - and who

is the dietician involved gonna be, do you know?

Does have an actual diagnosis? Is she under Dr Jamison?

Yep - I will email you direct as well, I have a few things to warn

you about as far as diet intiation thru the hospital goes - but then

again hopefully the problems we had there have since been ironed

out...

One of our biggest problem was med toxicity a couple of weeks into

the diet - whether or not they have learnt through 's

experience, I'm not sure - let's hope so :(

Anyways..hoping this will be 's answer, as it has (well mostly

anyway) been 's.

> Hi , Yes Starship Hospital. They only take one keto kid a

month apparently? You can email me at nikkysma@x... to have a

chat! is on baclofen 90 mg daily, plus clonazepam as

needed. (and gabapentin, epilim and tegretol for seizures). Yep my

girlie is rattling with drugs and I hate it. She was actually drug

free for 9 years and her seizures were not as bad as they are now.
