However I figured to give it a trial of one weekend. So I ate only " beneficial " items for 3 days. Typical dinner was steak and egg with mushroom, onion and tomato with a half glass of red wine. Lunch salmon with asparagus and walnuts. Breakfast omelette with tomato, green pepper and mushroom. Snacks were hazelnuts, pumpkin seeds, and a little dried guava and mango. Green tea the main drink. By Monday I had lost 4 pounds of edema. So I extended it for a week and lost another ten pounds of edema. I had been fighting edema for 4 years!!! That was in July. I am still steadily losing a pound a week, sometimes two. I have very little edema let and only when I eat the cheese or bacon I love that's bad for me. So in practice - there has to be something to this research that predicts what will be bad for one:-)) There's a nice email list (ER4YT-O) for type O folks who want to get serious about it. I use many systems and this ER4YT is one of them - I have adjusted my diet to pretty much comply with the approach but I use other principles from other systems as well, and I think everyone should - so as to individualize one's approach. I can say it works though :-)) The problem is that it works too well - you have to be fully compliant to get the real benefits. I only have to eat one " avoid " to fail to see the benefits. But then - my health is worth something to me :-)) Namaste, Irene -- Irene de Villiers, B.Sc AASCA MCSSA D.I.Hom.
