Guest guest Posted February 18, 2003 Report Share Posted February 18, 2003 Hi all: Just wondering if anyone has successfully used an FM system in the car with the car radio/cd/tape player? I believe the typical car stereo will NOT have a headphone jack, and ours certainly does not. So I expect I will have to modify the unit to support a headphone jack (etc) - into which the FM system can then be plugged. Has anyone done this? I wanted to see if people found this a hassle to get done or if it was easy (I haven’t approached any car audio places yet about this). Regards, Colin. PS: In late November I asked the group for some general FM system advice and got some good feedback. My daughter Emma just received her FM system (Phonak Microlink) and it is working well (OK, one boot was intermittent and I only have one side working while I wait for a new 2nd boot, but the one side works well from my limited initial testing!).
