We're obviously very concerned about his levels of mercury which probably is responsible for his problems of yeast and food allergies. Any help or guidance in this matter would be very much appreciated. First think about when things started to happen, whether you moved house, etc. etc. etc. to try to decide if you can rule out or pinpoint a source that way. Look around the house very very carefully for any mercury beads in the heater vents, rug, floor, floorboards, etc. Try to find out about or remember any broken fluorescent tubes, tilt switches, etc. > > Thanks, > Seema > > [Non-text portions of this message
Guest guest
You could test yourself to see if you are also exposed. That might help to determine the source, especially if your child goes to school out of home. Guest guest
No...nothing from a lake either. The only thing that he eats other than veggies is chicken (and some ham now). Guest guest
Well...he used to have fluorescent lighting in his room up until about a year ago, that's where he had all his therapy...would it typically release mercury vapors?? We also had fluorescent lights in our bathrooms, and still have them in our kitchen. Guest guest
They only release vapor if the tubes are broken. Guest guest
Another source to think about is from capped garbage dumps. They have been found to spew large quantities of methylmercury into the environment.
