Hi Lynne,

I have not heard of this. You may want to ask your doctor on your next

visit.

I do not have a valid medical explanation, yet from my own observations,

dark (grayish) circles around the eyes are an indication of heart or

circulatory problems.

One diagnostic for diabetes can be darkening of skin, frequently around the

neck or in the groin...

Medical opinions are always valuable, much more so than my annecdotal

observations...

My physician says that dark circles under the eyes can be an indication of

allergy

problems.

It can also mean that you aren't getting enough sleep.

Cucumber slices. They work wonders. A couple of slices over your eyes for

about 20 minutes a day will at least help lessen their impact if they bother

you. I also find that keeping the face moist also counteracts some of it.

And, of course, get your rest as you should. I find getting too much rest

also makes them worse. (How strange.) Mine don't bother me all that much if

they're faint. But I don't like it when they start darkening up too much.

Not a vanity thing, really. It just makes me look rather insane and put

people on edge.
