We did use loading doses of the vitamin A and got some good results relatively quickly. But I think you need the right fats to also get good results. We could not give loading doses of the EFAs as this would have caused diarrhoea. but if your kid tends toward constipation, it may be a good idea to experiment with high doses of EFAs

Initially for my son, removal of offending foods and/or addition of enzymes addressed this. Then I treated for yeast to address it. Then I chelated to address it. Each time they would fade and then come back. Now I am addressing it by TwinLabs Allergy A and addition of certain B vitamins. If I don't give the right proportion of A and B, the stims come back. It's always something.... This is my son's favorite stim. Now, most days it is gone, but it will be the FIRST thing to come back whenever something is not quite right for him. Guest guest
> What Bs are you using Dana? As individual tablets [which I crush] from my health food store, B-6, B-12, and folic acid. I added B-50 and saw noticeable improvement, but after a week he regressed again, and for my son this means the proportion of B in the B-50 is not right. So now I am adding the individual Bs, one at a time, and experimenting. I have recommendations of which ones to start with, so I will be doing that. My son is frustrating this way LOL, I can't use multi's, I have to do everything as individuals. Dana
Guest guest
vitamin A and EPA made very big differences to our son's eye stimming.
