Interesting possibility but lauricidin has been at about 6 pellets and he has

very, very typical chicken pox.

If he is really itchy, use Benadryl. It helped my daughter to not scratch.

Hi everyone,

Nicky has a " mild " case of chicken pox. I've been giving him baths, putting

on calamine lotion and filling him with C, A (15-20 thousand units), the

usual other supps, and 3 tablets of Eastpark Olive leaf extract plus upped the

monolaurin.

I have goldenseal, should I use it?

Any other ideas?

Interesting subject of chicken pox and shingles. I had chicken pox 3 times as a

kid.

Jon was exposed to his siblings chicken pox at 6mo but only got about 15-20

actual pox (not a full outbreak) but it wasn't till the MMR that I lost him to

autism.

When the nurse saw Nicky he had about 20 spots so she said it was mild (also

he didn't act ill) but now he's got hundreds. The nurse told me that even if

Nicky only ever got the initial 20 spots he'd still carry immunity......but

then she hasn't been through what you've been through, apparently!

Homeopathy is said to be good for chicken pox. I had it when I was

about 22 yrs old and the pediatrician said that I would get hundreds

of it, nothing can be done to prevent it.

I then went to a homeopathic practitioner who gave me a remedy. With

the very first dose, no new spots came up and the old ones started

drying up. It was quite amazing, because I had never thought that 4

tiny pills could do so much.

You're very nice -- I wish I could report something other than what looks

like ordinary chicken pox -- and not very mild at that! He's not got them all

over his stomach, several hundred. Plus in his mouth, his eyes. He is very

unhappy and so are we :(
