Our son was diagnosed 11 months ago. At first, we used Super

NuThera, but didn't see many results and he stimmed alot when on

it. About 6 months ago we switched to BrainChild Spectrum II and

within 4 days saw a different Henry. He became more aware, better

cognition, and language improved very rapidly. Since then, we have

moved on to Spectrum III and the improvements continue. On three

seperate occasions we have stopped the Brainchild, but each time we

do, his awareness drops pretty quickly. We start again and he comes

back. The last time I stopped was because we started the SCD diet 7

weeks ago (Brainchild is illegal on this diet). Within a week Henry

got foggier, not learning new words, etc. Without telling my

husband, I started the Brainchild again. 4 days later he

said " Henry's back... " . I am not affiliated with Brainchild in any

way, but feel it is one of the most important components of my

child's treatment. Two reasons come to mind why I think this might

be especially effective are that all the minerals are chelated and

the liquid formulation makes for easier absorption in my son's

inflamed gut. Second, there is a small amount of ALA in it...maybe

enough to chelate his brain a little? I don't know, but I am a

devoted user and plan on continuing it, even though it is illegal on

the SCD diet, which is also helping my son....Kim

Over the past 2 years, the feedback I usually see is very

consistent: the Brainchilds performs much better than the SNT. Even

if the person saw some improvement with SNT, they see much, much

more with Brainchilds. It is often reported that kids get very

hyperactive, stimming, aggressive or other intolerance reactions

with SNT, but you hardly ever hear of problems with Brainchilds.

On a technical level, Brainchilds is 100% non-synthetic and doesn't

have the really extra high B6 levels, whereas SNT is nearly all

synthetic (if not 100% synthetic) and has really extra high B6

levels.

I talked to Lange of Brainchilds over a year ago at a

conference and he was explaining in some detail how he fine-tuned

his products. He said his emphasize maximum sulfation in the body by

balancing certain amounts of this, and different forms of that, and

using some of this ingredient because it is synergistic with

that...it was over my head, but he was very focused on the balance

and forms of various ingredients. His daughter is extremely

sensitive to supplements and he started out by trying to find

something that would help her (I think he has 2 spectrum children).

Brainchilds are optimized for ADHD and Feingold followers as well.

Another difference is taste. SNT is said to taste very bad while

Brainchilds are reasonably good. I sampled the cal/mag which has a

very light milky-coconut flavor to it (I thought was good), and we

use the minerals which has an 'odd' taste but not bad...just odd.

But it completely disappears in juice. no taste at all. We have the

flavored type but Brainchild makes unflavored as well. I am going to

try the unflavored next time, but since the flavored disappears in

juice, it isn't a big deal now.

We used the SNT for awhile, but it made my daughter very hyper. After

enzymes she could not tolerate the high B at all, but she is doing

very well on the Brainchild and we haven't seen any of the hyperness,

night waking, etc. Only good things.

I've heard Brainchild's supply chain is very unreliable. some people

have even complained of having had their credit cards debited then

receiving no supps. Can anyone tell me if this problem has been

sorted out?

Thanks.

Some weeks ago a new business manager was added among other things

and the problem seems to be over. I recieved my order 3 days later

(midwest so that is good). Recently several people in the enzymes

and autism group ordered and all received product very timely.

I am trying the Minerals Only and it went over very well with the

boys so I ordered again and also received it promptly.
