Guest guest
I have the same problem with driving vs. being a passenger in a car. My daughter's theory is that if I'm in control I know when I'm going to turn or brake. If I'm a passenger I don't know the motion will change and my body doesn't " get ready " . I don't know what " get ready " means, so don't ask me that. ;-) However, I do have to wear my motion sickness bracelets if I'm not the driver. I never need them if I'm driving. The bracelets were recommended by my PCP before I went on a long trip. She was going to prescribe a motion sickness patch, but her office manager had used these bracelets on a cruise - with great results. So, I got bracelets instead. The brand is " Sea-band " . I found them at the drugstore. There is a button that pushes on an acupressure point on the inside of your wrist. You can even put them on after the nausea starts - and it helps. They come in gray - a lovely fashion statement. lol Take care, Marci > > Just wondering... does anyone have difficulty when > > swinging on a porch swing?
