Lost hearing in infant/toddler years for a known reason? What is the reason? Lost hearing in infant/toddler years for NO known reason? has Cochlear Implant? Will get the implant? Can sign? can speak? I think this will help me know you all better. Thanks for your time. OH..my answers (3.3 = mod-severe bi-laterally) lost his hearing this year for no known reason as of yet. I believe there was some neglect issues b/c the pediatriction (ours was on maternity leave) didn't refer to an ENT...four months/ 5 rounds of antibiotics with a double ear infection.
