Guest guest
Zoe has been having a bad episode with her FMF for the past two weeks. It causes peritonitis (inflammation in her chest and belly) and so she is in a great amount of pain. She's missed two weeks of school because of it. This has been her worst attack ever. I took her to her doctor at Children's Hospital on Friday but all he suggested was adult strength Tylenol and rest. He also said I should try to get her referred to the pain clinic there. I went to the health food store yesterday where they are very knowledgable and they recommended a super strength herbal supplement that brings down inflammation so we're trying that. In the meantime, I'm wondering if anyone has any suggestions for pain management for her. I know it's not the same as Chiari but we are all so familiar with pain I thought you might have some ideas. Thank you! Much love, Traci, ACM1, no surgery, hypothyroidism. mom of Andre (16 yrs.), ACM1, no surgery, cyst on brainstem, scoliosis. and Zoe (10 yrs.), Thalassemia and Familial Mediterranean Fever. Only lots of love and laughter keep us going! _________________________________________________________________ Join the world’s largest e-mail service with MSN Hotmail. http://www.hotmail.com
