Carbonated beverages HELP with digestion??? This is the first time

I've ever heard such a thing. I've always been told that we should

stay away from carbonated drinks because they can stretch our

pouches. As the weather temps increase I really miss my diet pop

but I don't want to mess up the weight I've lost! I am curious

about what others have heard. I know a couple people that drink

diet pop (very small amounts) but I've mostly heard negative

comments about it. and Patty, can you give us more info on

what you've heard about it being okay?

I pour my Fresca into a large glass and leave it in the refrigerator for

anywhere from one to three hours until it gets flat. You would be surprised

how quickly you get used to drinking it flat, and how nasty fully carbonated

beverages taste after. If I am in a hurry, I pour the drink back and forth

between two glasses 20 or so times..... instant decarbonation!
