Guest guest
Has anyone tried eating corn on the cob after surgery? I'm 9 weeks post-op and while I can eat a lot more foods now, I'm leery of it. I heard from the nutritionist that it can be hard to digest. But I must say...it's looking good when I serve it to my family.

Guest guest
I was never told to stay away from rice either. During my " soft food " stage, I could only have toasted bread, and since then, I have found that I can eat it better toasted anyway, but no one ever said to avoid it. I WAS told to make sure I get my protein in before I eat anything that's carbs. I read somewhere that one bite of carbs to every 3 bites of protein was a good way to look at it. in Indiana Open RNY 2/25/04 265.4/205/135 5'5 " Age 28 -- Re: Corn I eat corn all the time, and have never had a problem. I was never told to stay away from corn or bread. Just rice.. Pam
