Guest guest
Thanks Audrey for your goodwishes. Yes I had my period while the balloon was still inside. I was worried though when it first started because it came on the 24th day of my circle but I had all the symtoms I usually have with the onset of my regular period and it was heavy especially on the 3rd and 4th days. Dr Palter said the estrogen could have triggered off the early period. He also said I may have withdrawal bleeding when I finish taking estrogen. I was also worried that the balloon may prevent some of the blood from coming out but he explained that there is a hole in the balloon that will allow everything to come out. When the balloon eventually came out I saw the hole in it. I am looking forward to many good news coming my way. I am schedulled for a SHG in a month's time. How far with your case, have they been able to work out something on your blood thinning problem? I pray that your issue is resolved as soon as possible. All the best. Lest I forget, for anyone seeing Dr Palter after October 7th, he is moving his office to a new location. The new place is closer to the hospital about a block. Regards to everyone Gladys
