Guest guest
We just got back from 's 48 hour VEEG I won't get the report for a while ,but he was showing absence seizures and having tons of jerks we are not sure whether they are myoclonic or from the lamictal, but he seems to be getting worst. He started seizing a little over a year ago after a head injury he started with grand mals and then went to complex partials and now has added absence my question is that I know they are going to want to put him on another med which I am not thrilled with and would like to try the diet, but he likes his food and he does not like the prospect of eating nothing but eggs and bacon. Can this be made palateable?Any info would be great.Linn
Guest guest
The diet is most definately doable! As far as bacon & eggs-that's far from it. Savanna eats cottage cheese, pizza madewith egg white crust(there are several other variations for crusts), cukpcakes, pancakes, spaghetti and meat, taco salad. You need to be inventive. Her class at schoool cooks weekly and the teacher lets me know in advance what they're making and we look at what is all available and make something similar. (rice krispie bars-we used rice krispies/buttter/peanut butter and her cream to drink.) You can freeze the cream to make ice cream. Look in the filles there's a number of good ideas Kathy/WI
