Hey Everyone,

There is going to be 2 parts to this message.

I would like Chiari member BERNADETTE KUHNS email me at debandedszoo@...,

I read her email to and she was talking about medication she is taking

and I need to ask her some questions about it. My husband (Ed) has RSD and his

pain management dr just put him on the same medication. Bernadette, please

email. Thanks deb.

Now to my visit to the nsg today. We had alot to talk about. First and foremost,

he said the MRI doctor read my mri wrong and wants him to re-read it and wants

me to have an MRI to of the brain.

I do have Chiari I malformation he told me the mm but I cant remember to save my

life right now. He told me about the surgery want he does and number of days in

the hospital. He says I should start feeling better by 3 months.

They found something else in my MRI, Dr. Behrmann did surgery on me for a

herniated disc C5-6 and corrected that. The new MRI showed the C6-7 herniated

after surgery. He had the MRI they took before surgery in August 2001 and then

this one and there it is plain as day. Has this happened to anyone out

there?????

I have done nothing to make this happen, he thinks that it was probably in the

early stages of herniation and possibly with the surgery and pressure put on it,

it blew. He says he is not going to worry about that right now, my Chiari takes

priority.

I go see my PCP next week to get my insurance working on me going out of network

to have the surgery done.

I will keep you all informed.

Love,

Deb satellite beach, fl
