Guest guest
I am so thrilled for you! You will love it and you will feel sooooooooooo good! Get some gallon milk jugs cleaned out and sealed so they will float... that's what I use for my excersises in the hot tub. Just pushing or pulling them under water works so many muscles! Mine is on a slab too and I love it because it's so easy to drain and clean out! And the kids splashing doesn't mess up anything! I think I'll ge get in mine now! I get in for 30 minutes (I keep mine at 100 degrees only so I don't get too hot and I can stay in longer) and then I sit in my lawn chair and dry off. I've gotten a great tan just sunning for 30 minutes at a time We have rolling blinds set up on the 2 open sides of the patio so I can close it all the way in and change clothes outside. Not that I have neighbors too close but they could be if they tried Why on earth would they want to do that? LOL Wow you got a deluxe one but it doesn't have a lounge seat!!!! Mine is only 200 gallons. We use Baqua Spa products so there's no chlorine or bromine.... be careful using bromine if it's going to be enclosed at all!.... have you decided what products to use? I like these because it's once a week and even I can manage it alone LOL Have fun ...I know you can't wait to get it... the waiting when it's filling up is terrible LOL Hot Tub Well, we finally did it. We went today and bought a jacuzzi. It won't be in until mid to late August because I picked a siding color and acrylic color that they didn't have in stock (of course) but I can't wait. We're initially putting it on a concrete pad and then Denny will built a deck around it so it is somewhat recessed. I'm so excited. I know this will make me feel soooo much better. Of course it's our anniversary (which is tomorrow--7 years married, nine years living together), birthday and Christmas gifts for a couple of years, LOL--we didn't pick the cheapest model--but it is waaay worth it. This is the model we picked. The sides will be redwood (not reall wood so it won't rot, but it looks like real wood) and the tub part will be this color called sand granite that's really pretty. I'll send a pic when it's in. Guest guest
I didn't want the lounge seat. I've been in a few with those and I have a tendency to float up and try to hold myself down and then it becomes not as relaxing, LOL. I haven't looked into the products yet. It won't be enclosed. Once Denny eventually makes the deck it will have a privacy screen on two sides. Not that we need them in the summer, but when the trees are bare I think someone could see from the road. We're going back and forth on some kind of roof but it is under some trees so we may not need it. I have some jugs in the recycling, I'll have to take them out of it. I can hardly wait. We're supposed to be waiting for awhile before we put in the deck, LOL--but Denny's been out measuring and drawing so I have a feeling it won't be for long. Kathy Hot Tub Well, we finally did it. Guest guest
Actually I've thought about getting one of those things you put in your bathtub and it turns it into a whirlpool spa..
