Hello and welcome. I am a fellow UUer and I conceived via IVF. I only had

one tube, but it had to be removed prior to my first IVF due to severe

hydrosalpinx. I am now the very proud mommy to a 4 month old little girl

named Paxtyn. She's the result of our 4th transfer which happened to be 3

frozen embryos left over from a failed cycle 4 years earlier.

I know many RE's suggest only transferring 1 embryo to a UU, but my RE never

felt that way. He always transferred 3-4 embryos. I did get pg with

identical twins after our 3rd cycle, but we lost them at 9 weeks. He felt

my chances of success were much better transferring more embryos. I was

only 26 when I had my first IVF so my age was not a consideration at that

time.

I agree the waiting is terrible. The reason we waited 4 years between the

last 2 transfers was partly from fear of another m/c, but mostly due to lack

of funds for another try.

Best of luck to you
